Leadership Advisory

Experienced, honest, and impactful strategic counsel to Boards, Directors and senior leaders.

I work with senior leaders and executive teams across public, private and not-for-profit organisations, with particular experience working with Founders at seed to scale-ups; and in housing, local government, healthcare and charity.

I specialise in supporting those navigating organisational change, managing external risk, or transitioning into a new opportunity - whether that’s launching new strategy or taking on an expanded role. The consistent theme is supporting at a time when clarity and confidence matter.

My advisory draws on 25 years as a senior leader including as an Agency Founder, Assistant Chief Executive at a £1.1bn turnover London Borough, C-suite leader at a FTSE 350 company, Non-Executive Director and Chair of Trustees. This is alongside a career-long commitment to mentoring young and diverse talent at every level to thrive.

My commitment to those I work with is to listen, unpack challenge, then use professional insight and experience to realise the opportunities ahead.

How it works

Initial conversation

To understand your personal and professional context; the challenges faced; and agree the priority areas to focus on.

Our agreement

I develop our agreement including how we'll work, priorities for our sessions and confidentiality. This will include session frequency, timeframe for the initial engagement, and commercial terms. Once the agreement is agreed in writing, sessions will be diarised.

Purpose-led sessions

Sessions will typically last for an hour and take place at a frequency of 2-3 weeks. Each will begin with a reflection on the time that has passed; and recap of the priority themes for discussion. Notes will be taken during each session and insight used to shape the next so that each builds on the last. All notes will be kept entirely confidential and shared at the end of the engagement with the individual.

Advice that lasts

In the final session, we will review all we’ve worked through and discuss what comes next. From this, I’ll produce a short written note intended as a reminder of what we’ve discussed and what we’ve agreed to take forward. The aim is that sessions close with clarity on what’s needed to tackle all that’s ahead.
